Printable- 3D Masjid & 3D Muslim Kids

Get the kids involved with this quick, interactive Islamic craft that can keep them entertained too.

Islamic Printable: 3D Masjid & 3D Muslim Kids. This printable is aimed at getting the kids involved in an activity, through coloring the masjid. And then keeping them entertained later with the Muslim kid cut-outs. And if you don’t have kids, the masjid coloring sheet looks great by itself as decor. That’s a versatile printable!

Black & White Masjid

Print out the black and white masjid coloring sheet – glue two together and use as decor.

Masjid & the Kids

Grab the kids and color in the masjid with some crayons for some family fun. Include the 3-D kids and you’ve got an interactive Ramadan display for the kids.

Display the Blue Masjid

For a different look, print just the blue masjid and incorporate into your decor and in the kid’s Ramadan area.

Putting the Masjid Together

Let’s grab the supplies. The printables, some crayons, scissors and a glue stick.

Color the masjid coloring sheet – kids love to get involved here! As you can see below…

Cut out the masjids you’re using. You’ll need two of each to make the masjid’s 3D and stand up on their own. Make sure to take this step to fold the side parts of the masjid. Folding along the lines – making two folds.

Put glue on the area is says to – on both masjids.

Now stick the two identical masjids together. Press and hold for maximum stick. Let dry before putting upright.

Now onto the Muslim Kids

Print them up and grab your scissors.

Cut the kids out. We left a little white space to make it easier to cut out.

To make the Muslim kids 3D you’ll need to place them in their stands. For the stands, cut just the part that’s black, going about three-quarters of the way up, but not cutting all the way! Then stick the kids into the stand, with the slits matching.

Now that’s a versatile printable!

Fasting Dua Magnet Printable

A DIY printable magnet, to help remember our duas before we fast & when we break our fast.

You need this fasting dua magnet printable! To help remind you what to say when you start or break your fast. Maybe you’ve forgotten, or a revert. Whatever the case, we have you covered.

They make such a fantastic craft gift to your iftar guests, to friends and family as well. It’s a nice thoughtful, and easy gift to hand out.

This Islamic printable was designed by Reham ElGhousen at Dukkan Afandi or on IG at dukkan_afandi. We love her bold, yet simplistic designs and products.

Supplies

Here’s what you’ll need to make the magnets: our dua printable, premium vinyl sticker paper or cardstock, a flexible magnet and scissors. For a full list of where we picked up our supplies – head to the bottom.

Print & Cut

First thing, you’ll need to download our printable – see below. Next, you can print the printable onto premium vinyl sticker paper or just plain card stock. We’ve found that both work well, but our guess is the adhesive will look nicer longer.

After it’s printed, cut the printables out. We love using the paper cutter for the smoothest lines, but scissors obviously work as well!

Cut the Magnet

Cut out the magnet to match the size of the image. We recommend cutting just a little under so the magnet sits underneath the printable. But not too much smaller or the printable will start to bend and look bad.

Peel & Stick

Peel off the magnet, if adhesive, and peel the adhesive dua sticker – place onto magnet. Be careful, you won’t be able to un-stick it, so line it up correct the first time!

Trim

Trim any magnet that’s showing from the front. The magnet cuts really easily so this should be a breeze.

Repeat & Hang

Repeat with each dua magnet printable. Then hang! We love to hang it on the fridge, right next to our Ramadan calendar. That way we’re reminded to say our du’a before fasting and when breaking our fast. Bismillah!

Supplies

Dua Printable
Premium vinyl sticker paper or cardstock
Flexible magnet sheet – 5”x7”
Scissors or craft paper cutter

Directions

Print the printable onto premium vinyl sticker paper or cardstock.
Cut out the dua magnet images.
Cut out the magnet to match the size of the image. Making it just slightly smaller.
Peel off the magnet, if adhesive, and peel the adhesive dua sticker. Place onto the magnet. Be careful, you won’t be able to un-stick it.
Trim any magnet that’s showing.
Done!

Color in the Lanterns

Grab the kids and your coloring supplies and get to coloring these Ramadan lantern printables.

Cut out the Lanterns

This is a great opportunity to help the kids learn how to cut. But when it comes to the smaller windows, you might want to take over. But cutting the windows out is optional. You could stop here and hang up the colored in lanterns or the ready-to-print lanterns.

Glue on the Tissue Paper

Turn the lanterns over and cut the tissue paper to a little over the size of the windows. Place the glue down around the windows and place the tissue paper down.

Hole Punch & Thread

Grab a single hole puncher at the top of each lantern. Take a string and thread it through the lanterns.

Display your Lanterns

Take a piece of tape and hang the string onto the wall.

How To – Tag

1. Color the lanterns or print the colored ones out
2. Cut the lanterns out
3. Cut the windows out*
4. Cut out tissue paper to fit the window opening
5. With a glue stick, place glue on the back of the
lantern around the windows
6. Place tissue paper on the glue and smooth out
7. Punch a hole at the top of the lantern
8. Cut string to length desired
9. Thread the string through the hole & tie
10. Hang the lanterns

*You can keep the windows in, skip the tissue paper and just hang

Supplies

Grab your scissors or paper cutter and a glue stick. Sure you’ll need a printer and some paper stock – but you’ve got that already.

Cut

Now it’s time to cut up the printables. Cut in half along the dotted lines, and trim accordingly.

Fold & Glue

Time to fold the bottom half over – about half of the paper. When folding the remaining utensil holders, it’s best to line them up next to each other to make sure they’re all the same size.

Now, take your trusty glue stick and glue ONLY a small part of the inside, sides of the utensil holder. If you glue the entire pouch you won’t be able to put the utensils in.

Utensils & Set

Once the glue has dried, about ten minutes, you’re all set. Grab your utensils and fill up your utensil holder. Then set your table accordingly.

Instructions

Cut out the utensil holders – trim accordingly.
Fold the bottom half over – about half of the paper. When folding the remaining utensil holders, it’s best to line them up next to each other to make sure they’re all the same size.
Glue ONLY the insides, side of the utensil holder. If you glue the entire pouch you won’t be able to put the utensils in.
Wait for the glue to dry – about 10 minutes.
Insert in your utensils & set the table.

Print the Printables

First thing you’ll need to do it print your Ramadan treat bag toppers. We recommend they be printed on card stock, as it’s sturdier. They come two per page, in two different designs. And are meant to fit a standard baggie either snack or sandwich size.

Cut the Printables

We love our favorite paper cutter to trim these favor toppers, but you can use scissors as well.

Assembly Line

Now comes the part the kids can help with! So grab those little hands, form your assembly line of goodies & start stuffing. Here’s our Amazon list of goodies for the treat bags.

Fold

Once your baggie is stuffed, you’ll need to place the printable over the top and fold in half. The back is blank, so you can customize a message or address who it’s to.

Staple

After you’ve folded the printable in half, you’ll need to staple the paper to the baggies. We put on staple on the lower end of each corner – two staples total.

Hand out

Now your baggies are stuffed and ready to hand out. We hope this brings joy to your child, you and their classmates or whoever they’re handing the treats out to. Happy Ramadan!
