Print it in Black & White
No coloring in necessary and it still looks fantastic.
Color it in
We grabbed a kid for our example, she loved coloring in our our Ramadan decor and even cut it out herself!
Now it’s the adults turn to color it in with crayon…
Let’s get into how to make the tassels and hang it up.
How to Make the Tassel & Hang
Take a single hole puncher and make three holes. You’ll punch out the top corner dots – that’s where you’ll hang it. And then, if you’re making a tassel, cut the last hole in the bottom center point.
Grab your favorite color yarn and keep one end pointing down like so…
Then start wrapping it around your palm. 20 wraps make a nice and thick tassel.
Once you’ve gone around 20 times, keep the yarn around your palm. You’re going to thread the string at the top of the loop and tie. Make sure to leave more string than we did as that string will be tied to the banner!
Then cut the bottom portion of make the tassel. Finally, give it a trim and you’re all good.
Tie the tassel onto the bottom hole of the banner.
Now grab another piece of yarn and thread it through one hole, double tying in a knot on the back. Thread it through the other end and tie into a knot.
Now display and have a Happy Ramadan!
